This summer we're excited to offer three one-week sessions to engage, educate, and entertain Central Vermont's creative kids! Please note that space is limited and sign up early — we're filling spaces in the order registrations are received. Also, please note that we reserve the right to cancel sessions that are under-enrolled; if this becomes necessary, we will refund any payments in full.
One one-week session: June 19-23
Ages 9 to 14
9 AM - 3 PM
Join Professor Ben t. Matchstick on a week-long adventure of gaming and game development. We will begin with the hands-on making of the PinBox 3000 cardboard tabletop pinball, and join them together in strange configurations never before seen. We will collaborate on designing an open world Lego RPG, and try out some outdoor Live-Action Role Playing. We will house rule our Dungeons & Dragons campaigns and take turns cracking open essential tips and tricks to getting more of what you want out of your game. Includes a cardboard terrain design workshop. Game masters sharpen up with this games boot camp. Summer has just begun so its a great time to roll initiative on a new campaign and mix up your mastery with Games Unplugged!
This camp will be held at River Rock from 9 to 3, and will be limited to 12 campers, ages 9 to 14. The cost of camp includes a PinBox3000 for your camper to take home.
Two one-week sessions: June 26-30 and July 10-14
Ages 7 to 11
8:30 AM - 4 PM
$260 per session
Our popular summer standby returns this year for two one-week sessions, featuring creative construction play, games, and outdoor fun for kids ages 6-14. Working alone or in groups and fueled by their own imagination, participants will build a colorful, collaborative world of their own. Led by local artist and experienced program director Ellis Jacobson, this camp will elevate your child's building skills and take their summer to the next level.
This camp will be held at River Rock from 8:30 to 4. Each session will be limited to 12 campers, ages 7 to 11.
